Foreclosures are a hot topic and many more first time home buyers are looking into them to fix them up and have some nice “sweat equity”. Foreclosures are not just for investors anymore.
I have been interested in foreclosures for many years and sold many investment properties, mainly foreclosures, to investors that were looking to build the portfolio. Recently more first time home buyers are in the mix with many more nicer homes available at large discounts. This is smart because you can buy a foreclosed house now and in three years you can sell for a profit! I don’t know if you could turn a profit in three years if you bought a house at market right now.
